By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions.

In General:

The Tool Squirrel owns and operate this website.  This document governs your relationship with The Tool Squirrel, access to and use of this website and the products and services available through this website. By using the Services, you are agreeing to all of the Terms of Service, as may be updated by us from time to time. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms & Conditions / Terms of Service.
This Website may contain links to other websites (the "Linked Sites"), which are not operated by The Tool Squirrel. The Tool Squirrel has no control over the Linked Sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. Your use of the Linked Sites will be subject to the terms of use and service contained within each such site.
By purchasing from this website you must be at least 18 years of age or of the legal age of the majority in you jurisdiction.
When purchasing an item from this website you are bound to the terms and conditions .

1) Products Provided:

All items shown on an item listing will be the product sold, I do not use any stock photo’s, the product you see will be the product you receive. If an item has parts missing or is being sold as incomplete then this is how it is being displayed on the website and no other parts will be provided (ie if a plane has a depth gauge missing) this will be clearly shown in photo’s as this will be sold “as is”. If am item requires a battery or power source to use I will state that this is or is not included in the sale.
Unless otherwise stated all products sold by The Tool Squirrel are used tools and are sold as such, this may mean items contain wear but this will be described in the item listing. Any item that looks like it has had, in the past, evidence of woodworm will be mentioned in the description. 

2) Prices & Payment:

Prices for items on this website will be clearly shown before the time of purchase and at the time of purchase. The prices will always be shown in Pounds £ Sterling. The price you see will be the price you pay plus any postage costs that’s will be added at the final checkout point. Currently vat is not applicable on this site.
If an item is mistakenly put on at the incorrect price I reserve the right to retract the sale and provide a refund for the original amount.
Payment is to be made via the secure online payment system which will be through Paypal which is encrypted and secure. Once committed to making a purchase payment will be needed instantly through the checkout process. All items sold by The Tool Squirrel will have postage added to the final price. The options for postage will be clearly shown before the final price is confirmed.

3) Cancellations:

The Tool Squirrel aims to provide a quick postage service and will dispatch when possible within 1-3 days of the purchase, with this is mind if a purchase is made and a cancellation is required please contact me immediately before the item is dispatched. Once an item is dispatched and in the postal system I cannot get this back.

4) Shipping & Delivery:

Once an item is purchased and payment is confirmed and cleared then The Tool Squirrel aim to dispatch the item as soon as possible. This can however be delayed due to time off and illness.
All items will be sent via a tracked method to make the shipping process as smooth as possible. For items being sent abroad please look at my Postage & Packing page on this website for the various options available.
Once an item has been dispatched you will get an email notification saying your parcel is on it’s way.
When the package has arrived and the customer is satisfied with the order then The Tool Squirrel will conclude that the sale contract is complete.
On occasions items being delivered can be delayed in the postal system, this is not the responsibility of The Tool Squirrel but I do take this matter seriously and will communicate any information I have via the tracking process to the customer.

5) Guarantees & Warranties:

Due to the nature of selling used second hand equipment all items are sold in an “as is” status. No guarantees or warranties are offered for any used item, however if you are not satisfied with an order then please read returns and refunds.

6) Returns & Refunds:

The Tool Squirrel will aim to provide a quality service for any item purchased, but if for any reason you wish to return the item you may do so by initially contacting me via email stating why you wish to return and I will try to resolve any problems that may be resolvable over email or phone, if you still wish to return an item then please make sure contact is made within 30 days of receipt of the item, if this goes beyond this time then I cannot offer a return or refund.
Items being sent back must be sent via a secure tracked method and postage cost will be covered by the buyer. Items must arrive back in the condition they came in, if they don’t then I reserve the right not to offer a full refund, this is to stop items being used then sent back. After inspection a full refund of the item including the original postage cost will be made via the same payment method the item was originally paid for. Again I like to make sure every customer is satisfied with any purchase so please contact me if any problems do arise.

8) Disclaimer / Limitation of Liability:

The material displayed on this Website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. Unless expressly stated to the contrary to the fullest extent permitted by law The Tool Squirrel and its suppliers, content providers and advertisers hereby expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but without limitation to any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, or damages for loss of use, profits, data or other intangibles, damage to goodwill or reputation, or the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, arising out of or related to the use, inability to use, performance or failures of this Website or the Linked Sites and any materials posted thereon, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable or arise in contract, tort, equity, restitution, by statute, at common law or otherwise. Photographs and descriptions on this site are the property and ownership of The Tool Squirrel and must not be used or copied elsewhere. If you wish to use a image that is on this site then you must write to me with your intended purposes where it will be The Tool Squirrels discretion if any description or image can be used.
