Bit of a mystery type plane, could be a mish mash of different planes put together but this is all as found.

It is pretty much a type 17 as has some of those features but no raised rim on base ends............that being said during the war effort they were using alsorts of whatever they could find. The frog has the hardened rubber / plastic wheel, but has no frog adjustment screw, the handles also have screws rather than the two piece stud and screw.

The Iron is also made in England so that certainly isn't the original.

Some rust staining and at the toe end the lightest of pitting, but certainly nothing major at all.

Overall a nice plane.
